You simply do the division with a calculator or by hand. It's the top number divided by the bottom number. For example, 3/4 is three fourths. This means three divided by four, and .75 is the result.

You have to make the decimal out of 100 e.g. 0.33 = 33/100 and then see if you can simplify it (you have to divide the numerator and the denominator by the same number)
