There is no definition of a 'good run', it depends on your age. Did you try your hardest? If so then it is a good run.
A 'good runner' should be able to run 10km (6.2miles) in 30 - 40 minutes, a 'resonable runner' should take around 40 - 50 minutes and an 'average runner' will take 50 - 60 minutes.
At 12 minutes for 1.5miles, assuming you could continue this pace you'd take around 50 minutes
12 miles per minute - if you can maintain that speed steadily.

If you are running 12 miles in one hour, divide 60 minutes by 12 to get (5 minute miles).

It so much depends on how fast you run and how fast you swim and what type of stroke, and your weight. But roughly, say you run a 10 minute mile you burn 100 calories; say you swim 12 laps (300 meters) in 10 minutes you burn about the same 100 calories. A mile is 1600 meters, so a mile swim is a about a 5 mile run. Or 12 laps is about a mile run
12 minutes = 1/5th of an hour.1 mile in 1/5th of an hour = 5 miles per hour.On foot, horseback, slow boat, or treadmill, it doesn't matter.
